Andy has widely recognised expertise in client-related behaviour management in the health and aged care sector. He maintains a strong personal and professional interest in mental health, dementia, human behaviour and human relationships.
Andy is frequently engaged by organisations and professionals seeking guidance around human behaviour and mental health problems in the workplace.
He is a Mental Health Nurse, Health Counsellor and Coach as well as a highly skilled, experienced and sought after adult educator and trainer. He brings a relaxed but engaging and passionate approach to training. The clinical anecdotes from his extensive clinical experience, provide richness and relevance to the learning experience of his training and consultancy clients.
Andy’s expertise has been recognised through multiple nominations for the Margaret Tobin Award for excellence in mental health service, and for the South Australian Nursing Excellence Award in 2003, 2004, 2010 and 2012, an acclaim he won in 2004.
